With just over 6 weeks to go until our 2 week Social Innovation Bootcamp in Rio gets underway, we’re extremely excited to confirm some of the fantastic organisations and projects we’ll be working with on the programme.

Our first ever Social Innovation Bootcamp is about to get underway is less than two month’s time on the 4th July. Ten passionate individuals from around the world will all congregate in Rio for two weeks of social entrepreneurship training, which will include workshops in creativity and innovation, problem solving, design thinking techniques and lean start up methodologies.

Along the way they’ll scratch under the surface of Rio, meeting the organisations and individuals determined to create a lasting legacy for young people across arts, culture and sport in Rio, a year ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympics Games.

To do this, we’re partnering with some incredible organisations. Here are the first three we can formally announce!

1. EixoRio

Eixo Rio is our lead Industry Partner and is a department within the State Secretariat of Culture. Their work involves developing boosting cultural, creative and entrepreneurial projects and opportunities across Rio and their decision to collaborate with us was an incredibly easy one for them to make! As well as referring potential Brazilian clients to the programme, they’ll also be offering space in their new offices and sharing their knowledge and insight about cultural and creative programmes in Rio.


Pedra do Sal (down by the port) a weekly Samba street party, organised by an affiliate of Eixo Rio.

2. Agencia Redes para Juventude

The Agencia will be supporting the programme as a client referral partner. They work with young entrepreneurs across 6 favela communities here in Rio and have developed a methodology which empowers young people to develop their ideas to create new projects and enterprises that help tackle the challenges facing their communities. _Social Starters Trainee Consultants will get the opportunity to work alongside these young entrepreneurs, developing ways to help http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/weight-loss/ their projects to grow and become sustainable.


3. Oi! Kabum Ipanema

We’re also really excited to be collaborating with Oi! Kabum Ipanema.

Oi! Kabum is a creative media and technology school, a stone’s throw away from the Rio’s famous Ipanema beach, which opens its doors to aspiring and ambitious young creatives who are looking for opportunities develop their talents and ideas in a fantastic space. Oi! Kabum is part of Oi! Futuro, the CSR programme of one of the South America’s largest telcomms companies, the Oi group.

Oi! Kabum Ipanema is the only school that Oi! Futuro has in Brazil and their work to develop talented young creatives means we’ll have a great pool of potential clients to select and work with from their network.
